Tax Effective Giving

If you are a PAYE tax payer, and have donated €250 or more to Operation Smile Ireland in one calendar year, your donation can be worth even more to us!

Your donation(s) can be one lump sum of €250 or more, in regular installments (for example, €21 per month), or several donations totaling at least €250.

How does it work?

STEP ONE:

If, when you made your original donation(s), you provided us with your contact details (name and postal address), we will send you a CHY2 certificate around the end of January.

If you do not receive a certificate, you can download the form by clicking here.

STEP TWO:

Complete the form, making sure to sign and date it. All information is confidential, and your details will only be given to Operation Smile Ireland and the Revenue Commissioners.

STEP THREE:

Return your completed form to Operation Smile Ireland.

IT’S THAT SIMPLE.

WHAT IF I AM A SELF-ASSESSED TAX PAYER?

Unfortunately we are not able to claim tax relief from self-assessed tax payers. When you send in your donation, we supply you with an official receipt. You can then forward the receipt directly to the Revenue Commissioners who will adjust your tax liability accordingly
