Employer Matching Gift

Companies and their employees can help Operation Smile Ireland transform lives and give new smiles in several ways – through matching gifts, company fundraisers or an employee motivation programme.

Matching Gifts

Matching gifts can sometimes double or even triple your donation.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please speak to your Human Resources Department.

Employee Motivation Programmes

There are many ways to motivate employees at work and help children waiting for surgery at the same time.

At an employee staff meeting play a smile story of a child helped by Operation Smile Ireland (available on YouTube or DVD). Donations can be collected or made online.

Have an Operation Smile Ireland volunteer speak to your team, department or office about their experiences on a mission and collect donations to help provide a child with a new smile.

Hold a special “casual dress” day. Let each employee pay €10 to wear jeans and donate the funds to Operation Smile Ireland.

Have an inter-departmental or site competition to each raise €240 to help pay for a child to have surgery. Count the smiles across the entire company and celebrate the lives that have been transformed.
