Future Leaders

Our future is in the hands and hearts of the young. That’s why we at Operation Smile Ireland work hard to provide educational and leadership development opportunities. It’s our hope that tomorrow’s leaders will have an even greater impact on the children of the world.

•Thousands of students from primary schools, universities and medical schools across Ireland work as Operation Smile Ireland volunteers to raise funds.

• Hundreds of young people worldwide have participated in medical missions, which impart a first hand appreciation for our work in the field and forges a lifelong commitment to our cause.

• The annual International Student Leadership Conference follows the same philosophy of our international missions and global training programmes: to build leadership skills, share experiences and increase education on the importance of “giving back.”

• We continue to strengthen our online community and build future leaders in our new online youth community, OS Central.
